Just slow down. That's right. If you can slow down while you are eating you are more likely to be successful with your weight loss goals. Slowing down is effective enabling you to be more mindful, so you notice when you are no longer hungry, and satisfied. But it also allows your body
to digest your more effectively. BANG! You get two bangs for a buck.
Try siting by yourself and practicing eating more slowly than you normally do.
One trick is to try and chew each bite 20 times before swallowing.
Always put your fork down between bites.
Don't eat in front of the t.v. or computer.
Take smaller bites and really focus on what the food tastes like to you.
Keeping a journal about the experience can be even more impactful.
